Alpha-Iota Wins Major Awards at 2018 National Leadership Conference
This past July, our Chapter walked away with our first FACE Award(Founders Award of Chapter Excellence) in almost a decade. The FACE Award is the benchmark award in Kappa Sigma. The award recognizes outstanding Chapter management, achievement, and program development in all areas of operation. Out of 320 Kappa Sigma Chapters nationwide, less than 30 were awarded the FACE. Brother Austin Holdsworth(’14) was also awarded Undergraduate Brother of The Year. The Undergraduate Brother of the Year Award is presented annually to those undergraduate Brothers who exemplify the Star and Crescent, showing commitment and dedication not only to their own Chapter and Kappa Sigma but also to their university and community. Out of over 20,000 undergraduate Brothers, only 4 were selected for this award. We are very proud of our accomplishments over the last year and guarantee the next year is going to be even better.
After a historic fall semester, the Alpha-Iota Chapter of Kappa Sigma is heading into the spring with extreme momentum. Thanks to the leading efforts of rush chair Nick Hauck(’15), the chapter pledged a chapter record of 45 men, the biggest pledge class on campus.
